Riehen: the place for radical residential buildings.
This modern villa with Japanese and South American influences was designed by Barcelo Baumann Architekten.
The colours black, brown and grey dominate. The deep black colour of charred Marugame planks, dark oiled wood, raw steel, brushed stainless steel and, in the attic, a polished cement floor. The combination of the raw, powerful materials give this villa character and depth.
A beautiful place to live with a view over the hills towards Chrischona and Basel.
