We have been able to use Shodoshima in beautiful designs by our customers a few times in the past, but never before as a conversion of a fireplace. This special design in the middle of the room, conceived and built by the owner of the house himself, combines a fireplace with a TV cabinet. The wall creates a natural separation between the living area and the kitchen, without closing the rooms off from each other. The symmetry between the planks on the front and back creates a calm image in the space. Truly a beautiful project!
